CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati women's basketball team used a balanced attack to defeat UCF 70-54 in a home American Athletic Conference game at Fifth Third Arena on Saturday afternoon.

// THE SHORT STORY
After UC held an 11-point lead at one point in the first half, UCF battled back to even the score at 39 all with 13:19 remaining in the game. The Bearcats responded by going on a 17-4 run and garnered a 56-45 lead heading into the eight minute media break. UC then leaned on freshman Ana Owens and sophomore Marley Hill to finish off the Knights as they combined for 10 of the Bearcats' final 14 points aiding Cincinnati to a 70-52 victory.
