CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati women's basketball team dropped an 81-64 decision to Temple University on Saturday afternoon in Fifth Third Arena. Junior Jasmine Whitfield (Crestwood, Ky./South Oldham) led the Bearcats with 20 points, the most she has scored since going for 24 in the season opener.

- Cincinnati held an 11-6 lead early in the first half until a 14-0 run by Temple put the Owls ahead 20-11. TU's Feyonda Fitzgerald accounted for nine of the visitor's 14 points during the run that spanned four minutes and 58 seconds.
- A 6-0 Bearcats run cut the Tempe lead to 20-17 with 9:13 remaining in the first half. Senior Chelsea Jamison (Indianapolis, Ind./Broad Ripple) hit two buckets in the span for UC.
