CINCINNATI - Freshman Ana Owens (Indianapolis, Ind./Lawrence North) scored 13 points but it was not enough as the University of Cincinnati women's basketball team fell to visiting USF, dropping a 74-44 American Athletic Conference matchup Tuesday inside Fifth Third Arena.

The Bulls led wire-to-wire, using a strong inside game, which netted 30 of 74 points in the paint and converted 18 offensive rebounds into 16 second-chance points.

Owens' 13 points led the way for UC and Marley Hill (Cleveland, Ohio/Columbus Africentric) added eight points and nine rebounds. Bianca Quisenberry (Springfield, Ohio/Tecumseh) tallied eight points and Jasmine Whitfield (Crestwood, Ky./South Oldham) finished with four steals.
