CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati lacrosse team notched its second consecutive win behind a pair of stand-out offensive performances from juniors Courtney Curtis and Sarah Del Bene. The Bearcats took a 14-8 decision over Presbyterian on a sunny Sunday afternoon at Gettler Stadium.

Bridget Cleary (Centerville, Va./Chantilly) scored the third goal of a 3-0 Bearcats run to open the scoring in the game. She took a feed from Del Bene to put Cincinnati up 3-0 just over five minutes into the game.
2:09 1st - Ashley Helmrath (UC)
Ashley Helmrath (Ellicott City, Md./Maryvale Preparatory) converted a free position goal with 2:09 left in the half to provide Cincinnati with an 8-3 halftime lead.
18:22 2nd - Courtney Curtis (UC)
Curtis' fourth and final goal of the game capped another 3-0 scoring run for UC and pushed the Bearcats lead to 11-4. It was the second of two straight goals scored over a 2:20 stretch that saw Curtis find the back of the net on a feed from Del Bene.
// GAME NOTES
- Curtis now has 21 goals on the season after just seven games. She is closing in on her mark of 27 goals in 17 games last season, which led the team.
- Two Cincinnati players scored the first goals of their collegiate career. Sophomore Hannah Hinsch (Lebanon, Conn./Northfield Mount Hermon), who played in just five games as a freshman, scored her first goal with 4:52 to play, while freshman Brooke Kovinsky (Monkton, Md./Hereford) netted her first goal with 6:42 to play.
- Gulmi's six goals allowed marked her lowest total of the season and lowest total since allowing five goals last season in a 14-5 win over Detroit (March 23, 2014).
