University of Cincinnati sophomore Jared O'Kelley (Canton, Ga./Creekview High School) and senior Jared Howard (Dublin, Ohio/Jerome High School) are tied for 27th place after two rounds of the Seminole Intercollegiate at the Southwood Golf Club in Tallahassee, Florida.

Howard carded the best second-round score of any Bearcat on Saturday, posting a 2-under 70. His two-round score of even par 74-70=144 is tied with O'Kelley, who shot his second consecutive even par score at 72-72=144.

East Tennessee State's Gudmundur Kristjansson leads the 90-player field at 14-under 63-67=130.

The Bearcats took 10 strokes off their first-round score to climb into 15th place in the team standings at 301-291=592. East Tennessee State leads the team standings at 276-288=564. The competitive field includes four squads ranked in the top 10 of GolfStat rankings.

Other Bearcat scores include: senior John Michael O'Toole (Pinson, Ala./Pinson Valley High School/Central Alabama CC) tied for 59th place at 78-71=149; freshman Davis Baxter (Nolensville, Tenn./Ravenwood High School) tied for 83rd position at 78-78=156; and senior Baxter Reeves (Montgomery, Ala./Brewbaker Tech/Central Alabama CC) in 85th place at 77-80=157.
