The University of Cincinnati women's basketball team battled to the end with Tulsa, but the depth of the Golden Hurricane eventually wore the Bearcats down as they fell, 71-58, at home on Senior Night.

Cincinnati put up a good fight for the majority of the game, but Tulsa put together a few runs in the second half while also shooting 47 percent from the field to distance themselves. The depth of the Golden Hurricane proved to be too much for Cincinnati as they received 34 points from their bench to the Bearcats 16. UC was also trumped in fast-break points with Tulsa getting 12 while the Bearcats recorded none.

- UC scored the first four points of the game, but Tulsa responded by going on a 15-4 run.
- Jasmine Whitefield nailed two three pointers prior to the under-eight media timeout to give UC a 6-0 run.
- Cincinnati went on a 7-2 run between the eight-minute and four-minute media timeouts to take a 23-21 lead with 3:58 remaining in the first half.
- The Golden Hurricane responded out of the media timeout by going on a 10-2 run to close out the half and carry a 31-25 lead into the locker room.

// INDIVIDUAL NOTES:
- Jasmine Whitfield went 2-of-4 from three-point range, snapping a streak of 10-straight misses from behind the arc over a three-game span. The junior last recorded multiple three's in a game against UCF on Feb. 14.
- Marley Hill reached double-digits in scoring for the 20th time this season and 23rd time in her career with 15 points. 11 of those points came in the second half.
- Marley Hill also grabbed double-digit rebounds, recording 10 and picking up her ninth double-double of the year.
- Makenzie Cann recorded double-digit points for the second straight game, netting 12 against Tulsa. The 12, points mark the second-highest point total of the season after setting her career high against SMU Saturday (15). She now has double-digits in eight games this season.
