The University of Cincinnati track & field programs closed out a successful opening weekend at the Disney Track & Field Open and the UCF Black & Gold Challenge on Saturday afternoon in Orlando, Florida. The Bearcats combined to garner 10 top-three finishes.

Senior Michael Nwankwo set a new career-best height in the men's high jump as he cleared 6' 9.5". His clearance came up one and a quarter inch shy of jumping into UC's all-time records book.
//STARTING THE SEASON LOW
Junior sprinter Kenya Woodall carried her indoor success to the outdoor track as she ran 11.65 in the women's 100-meter dash. Her time was just seven hundredths of a second off her career-best time, which she set last season at the NCAA Preliminary Round.

The Bearcats will host the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational on March 27 and 28 at Gettler Stadium. The meet is UC's lone home competition of the season and will also serve as Senior Day and Alumni Weekend.
