The University of Cincinnati track & field programs made their presence known on day two of the Tennessee Relays as they combined to earn 15 top-eight finishes. Kenya Woodall led the charge as she won two events and was the runner-up in another. Macklin Tudor broke the men's shot put record.
// WOODALL MAKES STATEMENT IN SPRINTS
Junior Kenya Woodall made a statement on Friday as she won the 200 and 400-meter dashes while taking second in the 100-meter dash. If you combine the times of all three races, she was 17 hundredths (0.17) away from breaking three school records. Shestarted the day with a runner-up finish in the 100 with a time of 11.56, which is three-hundredths off Natasha Burse's school record. She then ran 53.33 in the 400, which is seventh hundredths off her own school record. To cap off the day, she crossed the line in first in the 200 with a time of 23.44, which is the second fastest time in UC history behind Charlyn Ray's time of 23.37.
// TUDOR BREAKS SHOT PUT RECORD
Junior thrower Macklin Tudor garnered his third UC school record by throwing the shot put 59' 4.75". His throw surpassed Troy Cooper's toss of 57' 9" in 2009. Tudor now holds the indoor and outdoor shot put and discus records.
// GOOD WINS THE HEPTATHLON
Senior Kaitlyn Good closed out a career best performance in the heptathlon on Friday with 5,280 points and a first-place finish. Good finished top four in all three events on day two, including a top finish in the javelin. She also had an outdoor best mark in the long jump of 17' 9.75".

The final day of the Tennessee Relays will mainly feature relays and field events with a few distance races to begin the day. Women's shot put kicks off the day at 10 a.m., and running events resume at 12:30 p.m.
