WASHINGTON - The University of Cincinnati lacrosse team dropped an 8-4 decision in BIG EAST Conference action at Georgetown on Saturday afternoon. The Bearcats got a pair of goals from Dani Tunnell and held the Hoyas to just one score in the second half.

15:32 1st - Natalie Miller (GU)
Miller scored on a feed from Devine to cap a five-goal Hoya run to open the contest. Tarzian netted the first two goals of the game, followed by Kristen Bandos, Lauren Schwalje and Miller to put the hosts up, 5-0.

13:35 1st - Courtney Curtis (UC)
Curtis scored her 34th goal of the season to cut the UC deficit to 5-1.

0:15 1st - Colleen Lovett (GU)
Lovett scored the last two Hoya goals of the half, the first with 13:18 to play and the second right before the end of the period, to provide the halftime margin of 7-1.

15:29 2nd - Brooke Kovinsky (UC)
Kovinsky scored her fourth goal of the season, and found the back of the net for the second straight game, to break a scoreless stretch by both teams of nearly 15 minutes. The score cut the Georgetown lead to 7-2.

8:50 2nd - Dani Tunnell (UC)
Dunnell scored the next two goals of the game, both unassisted, to bring her season total to 17 and cut the Cincinnati deficit to 7-4.

5:21 2nd - Hannah Seibel (GU)
Siebel scored on a free position to push the Hoyas' lead back to four goals, 8-4, and provide the final score of the game.

The Bearcats remain on the road when they visit new conference foe No. 10 Florida on Wednesday, April 15. The Noon showdown will be the first between the schools as members of the BIG EAST.
