CINCINNATI
-- For his second straight appearance, freshman pitcher Tristan Hammans (Bakersfield, Calif./Garces Memorial) tossed a complete game, going the distance in a 6-2 loss to No. 3 Louisville on Tuesday night at Marge Schott Stadium.

Seven days after shutting out Xavier in a two-hit, complete-game effort, Hammans saved the Bearcats' bullpen with another nine inning outing. He struck out three batters and scattered six runs, never allowing more than two in an inning to keep the game within reach.

Hammans was named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll on Monday, April 20, for his performance against the Musketeers last week.
