The University of Cincinnati track & field programs continued to rake in top-eight finishes at the 121st Penn Relays as they snatched four more, including one individual title.
// ABRAHAMSSON WIN THE TRIPLE JUMP
Freshman Rebecka Abrahamsson grabbed the third Penn Relays title in UC history on Friday as she won the College Division's triple jump. The last Bearcats' athlete to win an individual title was Ian Jarman in the 2008 when he won the hammer throw. Abrahamsson leapt 42' 3.25" to win the competition and break her own school record. The Swede's new mark places her 12the in the nation and second in the American Athletic Conference behind SMU's Isabella Marten (43' 4.25").
// MOVING ON TO FINALS
Both Je'Rica Sanders and Kenya Woodall will advance to the finals of their specific events on Saturday. Sanders finished second in her heat of the 100-meter hurdles and ninth overall with a time of 13.82 to earn a spot in finals, which is slated for 3:15 p.m. Woodall recorded the second-fastest time in the field of 100m runners with a time of 11.65. Her final is scheduled for 3:35 p.m.

UC will have a small contingent competing on the final day of the Penn Relays. Sanders and Woodall will be the lone competitors on the track as they ramp up for the finals in their specific events. In the field events, Chris Greene and Michael Nwankwo will be in the triple jump, Macklin Tudor will be in the discus, and Adrian Valles will compete in the pole vault.
