VILLANOVA, Pa. -- The University of Cincinnati lacrosse team dropped an 18-4 decision at Villanova on Saturday afternoon in BIG EAST action. The Bearcats dropped to 2-10 and 0-2 in league play, while the Wildcats improved to 7-4 and 2-0 in conference action.

Froccaro scored her second goal of the game to cap a nine-goal run by the Wildcats to open the game.

2:49 1st - Brooke Kovinsky (UC)
Kovinsky scored the first Cincinnati goal late in the first half. It was just the second goal of the freshman's career.

14:50 2nd - Courtney Curtis (UC)
Curtis scored the first of consecutive goals with just under 15 minutes left, followed by her second score with just under 10 minutes left, to draw the score to 16-4. It pushed Curtis to 31 goals on the season and marked her ninth multi-goal game of the year.

The Bearcats return to the Sheakley Athletics Center on Wednesday, April 8, when Vanderbilt visits for a 3 p.m. showdown. It will be the first meeting between UC and the Commodores as members of the BIG EAST Conference.
