University of Cincinnati junior Kenya Woodall narrowly missed garnering All-America honors in the 400-meter dash on Thursday at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Woodall, who ran in the final of three heats, clocked a 400-meter dash time of 53.43 to finish 17th out of 24 competitors. The Coatesville, Pennsylvania, native was one hundredth of a second away from grabbing 16th place, which would have earned her Second Team All-America honors.
She caps off a junior campaign that saw her re-break her own indoor and outdoor school records, grab five all-conference honors and reach the qualifying standard for the USATF Outdoor Championships.

The Bearcats don't have anyone competing on Friday, so it will serve as a day for training and exploring. Erika Hurd and Rebecka Abrahamsson are the last two competitors to compete for UC, and they will are slated for 4:30 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. ET.
