Brown Netted Game-Winner in Bearcats' Victory Over Vanderbilt

Sophomore Jaycie Brown nets her first goal of the season to lift the University of Cincinnati women's soccer team to a 1-0 win over Vanderbilt and grab the team's first win of the 2015 season.

After playing to a first half draw, the Bearcats came out firing in the second half and put a large amount of pressure on the Commodores' backline. Cincinnati peppered the `Dores with 12 shots and seven corners, and UC came away with the lone goal of the match in the 67th minute.

The Bearcats' defense was stout all match as they allowed just three shots and posted their first shutout of the season. Senior transfer Sam Pavlika started in goal for UC and recorded two saves.
