The University of Cincinnati women's soccer team battled to a 2-2 on Thursday night against Long Beach State to extend their unbeaten streak to four consecutive matches.
After falling behind 1-0 in the 33rd minute, the Bearcats (5-2-2) clawed back to equalize in the 44th minute on Kelsey Parrinello's first career goal.
UC carried the momentum into the second half as they tallied double the number of shots as the 49ers with five being on frame. Senior Kelly Latimer gave Cincinnati a 2-1 lead in the 72nd minute with a goal off a penalty kick.
With under a minute remaining in the match, LBSU's Victoria Bolden headed in the game-tying goal, which ultimately led to the 2-2 draw after a pair of overtime periods.
Senior goalkeeper Sam Pavlika tallied three saves and improved to 4-0-2 on the season.

34' - LBSU - A long throw by The Beach clears a crowd of players before finding the head of Alyssa Alvarez. The header was batted away by S. Pavlika, but Alvarez fought off a UC defender to tap in the rebound for a 1-0 lead.
44' - UC - Freshman Rachel Holloway dribbled between a few defenders and to the end line before passing the ball across the 18 to a streaking Parrinello. The sophomore took the pass in stride and one-timed it into the back of the net to even the match at 1-1.
72' - UC - After the 49ers were called for a handball in the box, Latimer stepped up and drove her penalty kick inside the left post while the LBSU goalkeeper dove the opposite direction.
90' - LBSU - Jessica Vincent crossed a low ball into the middle of the box, and an unmarked Victoria Bolden headed in the game-tying goal with 38 seconds remaining.
