TAMPA, Fla. -- The University of Cincinnati men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision at No. 17 USF on Saturday night. The loss is just the second for the Bearcats in their last eight matches.
The Bearcats (6-5-2, 1-1-2 American) were outshot by USF (9-3, 4-0 American), 14-5. Pedro Diaz (Mason, Ohio/Mason) made three saves in the effort. The Bulls jumped out to a 1-0 lead in just the 13th minute, then added a second goal just before halftime in the 43rd minute. The final score came in the 60th minute.

The Bulls got the early lead off a corner from McNally which Maciera sent into the lower left corner for his second goal of the season.
43' - USF Brendan Hines-Ike
Hines-Ike extended the lead to 2-0 just before the half by connecting on a free kick from 25 yards away.
60' - USF Melvin Becket (Marcus Epps)
The Bulls scored the final goal of the match when Epps crossed a ball into the box and Becket sent it home into the lower right corner.
