// STAFFORD'S STANCE

"It was a much different feel from Thursday (a 2-1 loss at Temple). We were lethargic and weak on Thursday. Today, to come to UConn on their Alumni Weekend and put in the performance we did, I'm super proud of our players. I don't think the better team won today, which is frustrating. We're a little naive when it comes to finishing and making plays, but I could never fault the player's work rate and commitment. I'll say it again, we were the better team today and I thought we out played them for 95% of the game."
