// ALVEY'S ADDITIONS
"To be on the road with two matches in two tough environments and be able to stay consistent and play together is something that is really tough to do" said head coach Molly Alvey. "I am really proud of the team for being able to finish through the weekend. It was definitely a full team effort today. We are going to celebrate this one a little, take some time to rest and take care of our bodies, then get right back to it to prepare for two matches next weekend."

Set 3: UC 26, UH 24
- Houston opened an 8-3 lead in the third game, forcing Alvey into an early timeout, but a four-point UC run, including three UH errors, brought Cincinnati within 8-7.
- The teams traded points until another four-point UC run, including a solo block and a kill by junior Lise Alaiwan (Villeneuve Loubet, France/Kedge Business School) gave the Bearcats a 15-14 advantage and brought a Houston timeout.
- No team could gain more than a point lead throughout the remainder of the game until back-to-back Thompson kills broke a 24-24 tie and gave Cincinnati the 26-24 win.
