// SERIES INFORMATION
- Saturday marked the 12th all-time meeting between the two teams; a series in which UC holds a 10-2 advantage. The Bearcats are 7-0 against the Huskies inside Nippert Stadium.

- #2 WR Mekale McKay, #92 DE Silverberry Mouhon.
- UConn won toss, deferred to second half. Cincinnati received kick to begin game.

// OFFENSIVE NOTES
- UC recorded more than 600 yards of offense for the third time this season with 612. The Bearcats had 752 at Memphis on September 24 and 636 against Alabama A&M on September 5.
- #4 RB Hosey Williams' 84-yard rush was the second-longest in school history behind Joe Miller's 91-yard rush for a touchdown against Xavier in 1953. On the day, Williams led the Bearcats with 13 rushes for 140 yards and a touchdown. Saturday was Williams' second-career 100-yard rushing game and first of this season.
- #11 QB Gunner Kiel made his 18th career start and fifth of the season. Kiel last started this season on Sept. 24 at Memphis. Kiel has thrown at least one touchdown pass in 17 of his 18 career starts. Kiel also added a rushing touchdown in the second quarter; the third of his career and second of the season. In total, Kiel was 26-of-35 for 327 yards and two touchdowns.
- #19 WR Shaq Washington has a reception in 33-straight games, dating back to the 2013 opener against Purdue. He has caught three or more balls in 20-straight games. In total, Washington hauled in eight passes for 78 yards.
- #3 WR Johnny Holton Jr caught a 29-yard touchdown pass from Kiel. The touchdown was Holton's eighth of his career and third of the season. Holton had two catches for 62 yards and a touchdown.
- #81 TE DJ Dowdy recorded a career-long reception of 26 yards for his second-career touchdown. Dowdy's first-career touchdown came last week at BYU. Dowdy had two receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown.
- #5 RB Mike Boone rushed 13 times for 119 yards. Saturday was Boone's fourth-career 100-yard rushing game and second of this season.
- A UC TE has caught a touchdown pass in three-straight games.
- QB Luke Wright made his second appearance of this season. The freshman's first appearance was on Sept. 5 against Alabama A&M.

// DEFENSIVE NOTES
- #4 S Zach Edwards forced his third-career fumble and first of the season.
- #23 LB Eric Wilson recovered his fifth-career fumble and second of the season. Wilson led the Bearcats with 11 tackles including 1.5 for loss. Saturday marks the fifth time this season Wilson has led the teams in tackles.
- #45 LB Bryce Jenkinson recorded his first-career sack and first-career forced fumble.
- UC limited UConn to 144 yards of total offense in the first half and 122 in the second (266). Saturday is the Bearcats' best defensive performance this season since allowing 246 yards against Alabama A&M on September 5.
- #2 S Tyrell Gilbert recorded his first-career interception.
- #92 DE Silverberry Mouhon recorded his second sack of the season and 16.5 of his career.
- First career starts for #47 DE Landon Brazille, #50 DT Sione Tongamoa, and #32 CB Linden Stephens.

// SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES
- #16 K Andrew Gantz added field goals of 23, 26, and 38 yards. He has converted a field goal in nine-straight games.
- #26 P Sam Geraci punted twice for 63 yards including a long of 32.
