PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. - The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team had a duo of student-athletes competing this weekend at the 2015 Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships. Kelly Poggensee-Wei (Lake Villa, Ill./Grayslake North) and Lauren Bellinger (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin) teamed up in doubles action while Poggensee-Wei also competed in singles action.
In doubles action, the Bearcats fell in the opening round of the pre-qualifying doubles to Wegner/Garrido-Rivas of TCU by a score of 8-3. Poggensee-Wei also competed in the pre-qualifying singles, but fell to Ellyse Hamlin of Duke by scores of 6-1, 6-1.
