STORRS, Conn. -- The University of Cincinnati men's soccer team battled UConn to a 1-1 draw on the road Wednesday night in Connecticut, thanks to a second-half goal from Alejandro Garcia. The Bearcats (6-4-2, 1-0-2 American) are now unbeaten in six of their last seven matches, while also unbeaten in conference play thanks to the draw at UConn (3-3-4, 0-2-1 American).
The Bearcats allowed just two shots on goal in the match, with UConn's goal coming on a penalty kick in the 27th minute, before getting a 64th minute goal from Garcia to even the match. Cincinnati put five shots on goal in the match.
