Cross Country Finishes Season at NCAA Great Lakes Regional

VERONA, Wis.- The University of Cincinnati men's and women's cross country teams competed at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Friday at the Thomas Zimmer Cross Country Course in Verona, Wisconsin. The meet was hosted by the University of Wisconsin and included all NCAA Division I teams from Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin and Michigan. The men's team ran a 10K race while the women competed in a 6K race.

The teams improved to an overall finish of 24th place, up four spots from a year ago.

// MEN'S 10K RACE
The men finished 21st among all teams with an average time of 33:08. The University of Michigan took home the men's team honors with an average time of 30:57 while the Wolverines' Mason Ferlic crossed the finish line first with a time of 30:18.3.

// WOMEN'S 6K RACE
The women finished in 24th with an average time of 23:19 on the 6K course. Michigan also won the women's side with an average time of 20:56 while Molly Seidel of Notre Dame took home the individual honors, winning with a time of 20:04.4.
