CINCINNATI
- The University of Cincinnati volleyball team ended its season with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-19, 25-13) sweep of Tulane on Friday afternoon in Fifth Third Arena. The match represented Senior Day as the team celebrated the careers of Morgan Allred (Carrolton, Texas/Hebron), Emma Roberson (Brooks, Ky./Evansville), Amelia Wegman (Aurora, Ill./Rosary) and student manager Hannah Quinlan in a postmatch ceremony on the court.

// NOTABLES
- The Bearcats finished the year with a 21-10 overall record and a 13-7 mark in the American Athletic Conference while Tulane concluded the season at 10-22 and 4-16. UC finished in third place in The American after being picked fifth in the Preseason Coaches' poll.
- Freshman Jade Tingelhoff (Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville South) dished out a match-high 32 assists and finished the year ranked fifth on the All-Time Freshman Assists list with 992 career assists. She also ranks 10th on the All-Time Freshman Digs list with 309.
- Freshman Abby Williams (Loveland, Ohio/Ursuline Academy) finished with a match-high 13 digs and recorded double-digit digs in all but one match this season. She is third on the All-Time Freshman Digs list with 510 in her first season at UC.
- Freshman Jordan Thompson (Edina, Minn./Edina) finished with 13 kills and hit double-digit kills in 26 matches this season. She rounded out the season with 459 kills, good for second on the All-Time Freshman Kills list.
- Freshman Carly Nolan (Crystal Lake, Ill./Crystal Lake South) finished with 13 kills and five digs. She ranks eighth on the All-Time Freshman Kills list with 372 and ninth on the All-Time Freshman Digs list with 318.
- Junior Lise Alaiwan (Villeneuve Loubet, France/Kedge Business School) had six blocks, including two solo blocks, to lead the Bearcats at the net.
- Tulane finished the match with a .071 attacking percentage, making the second time this year that UC has held its opponents below the .100 mark (.032 vs. Binghamton on Sept. 4).

// SET BREAKDOWN
Set 1: UC 25, TU 19

- Cincinnati opened a 9-4 lead but the Green Wave scored five in a row, with three blocks, to tie the score at 9-9.
- A Tulane attacking error sandwiched between two kills by Nolan gave the Bearcats a 13-10 lead and a two-point cushion in the game.
- The Bearcats score three in a row with kills by Allred and Thompson and an Allred/Alaiwan block) to force a Tulane timeout at 18-14. Out of the break, a Green Wave attacking error gave UC a 19-14 advantage.
- Another four-point UC scoring run, including a kill from Tingelhoff and a solo block from Alaiwan, gave UC a 23-16 lead.
- The Green Wave fought off three game-points for the Bearcats but a bad set by the Tulane setter gave UC the 25-19 victory in the opening game.
Set 2: UC 25, TU 19
- A service ace from Nolan and a solo block from sophomore Maya Muldrow (Raleigh, N.C./Wakefield) opened a 3-1 UC before back-to-back kills by Thompson and Allred put the Bearcats ahead 5-2.
- Kills by Alaiwan and Nolan gave UC a 19-13 advantage before a kill by Muldrow and a Tulane attacking error forced the Green Wave into a timeout with a 21-13 deficit.
- Out of the break, Tulane scored five of the next seven points to get within 23-18, but Cincinnati shut the door with block by Allred and Alaiwan before a Thompson kill ended the set 25-19.
Set 3: UC 25, TU 13
- It was all Bearcats in the third set, including a six-point run that saw kills from Thompson and Allred and two Alaiwan blocks, for an 11-3 UC lead.
- A kill by Allred and two by Thompson pushed the Cincinnati lead to 19-8 and another three-point scoring run with a block by Nolan and two Tulane errors put UC on the brink of victory with a 23-12 lead.
- Two consecutive kills from Nolan gave ended the match with a 25-13 UC win in the final game.
