Final Meet Results
CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati track and field program competed in its 36th annual intrasquad meet on Friday, Dec. 5, with the black team edging a slim 107-92 victory. The teams combined for seven new intrasquad meet records on the day. The meet took place in the Armory Fieldhouse on the UC campus and was held on a 175-meter flat track.
// MEN'S RESULTS
The red team beat the black team by a single point, 51-50, after the 12-event meet. The red team picked up three individual victories in the track events with Kelvin Williams (Melbourne, Fla./Palm Bay) winning the 55-meter hurdles, Tevin-Lloyd Thompson (Harbourview, Jamaica/Kingston College) winning the 200-meters and Jaashir Morris (Edison, N.J./JP Stevens) winning the 400-meters. On the field side, Tariq Sanders (Cincinnati, Ohio/Lockland) bested the field in the triple jump while Josh Province (Willowick, Ohio/Eastlake North) took home top honors in the weight throw to give the red team the advantage.

The black team topped the red team 57-41 on the women's side, led by Kenya Woodall (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) and Rebecka Abrahamsson (Karlshamn, Sweden/Karlshamn) who each recorded a pair of victories. Woodall won the 55-meters and the 200-meters while Abrahamsson won the long jump and the triple jump.
// INTRASQUAD MEET RECORDS
The meet saw seven intrasquad meet records fall, three for the men and four for the women. Jimmy Brooks (Wyomissing, Pa./Western Texas) tied the record in the 55-meters, finishing in 6.1 seconds for the only men's track record set on the day. Alex Bloom (Seymour, Wis./Seymour) broke a 28-year old record in the high jump, clearing 6' 10.5" for the new intrasquad mark. Province also set a new program best with a 60' 9.75" toss in the weight throw to earn the victory.
For the women, Woodall got things started when she tied the intrasquad meet record in the 200-meters, finishing in 25.0 seconds. Erika Hurd (Manchester, Md./Manchester Valley) tied a three-year-old mark in the high jump, going 5' 10.5", while Abrahamsson finished with a mark of 40' 1.5" in the triple jump, besting her own record of 39' 1.25" which she set in 2014. Annette Echikunwoke (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington North) rounded out the meet's records with a 60' 9.75" toss in the weight throw.
