Sixth Annual First Pitch Reception Date Announced

CINCINNATI - Head coach Ty Neal and the University of Cincinnati baseball team will host the sixth annual First Pitch Reception on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, in the west pavilion of Nippert Stadium. Guests will hear from Neal as well as Director of Athletics Mike Bohn and will get a chance to meet the 2016 team.

The reception will begin at 6 p.m. with heavy appetizers and a cash bar while the program will begin at 7 p.m. This year's program will feature remarks from Bohn and Neal and will introduce the entire 2016 team. The cost of the event is $45 per person which includes parking.

The team will kick off the 2016 season with three games at No. 11 LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Feb. 19-21. The Bearcats boast seven returning starters on the field and 20 returning lettermen overall for a schedule that features 10 games against teams currently ranked in the Baseball American Preseason Top-25.
