CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team cruised to a 5-2 win Friday night over Morehead State at the Western Tennis & Fitness Club. The Bearcats won all three doubles matches and four of six singles matches to pick up the win.

Cincinnati took care of doubles action in less than 30 minutes against the Eagles. Katya Bure (Springfield, N.J./Jonathan Dayton) and Antonella Bramato (Pachuca, Mexio/Elise Freinet) picked up the 6-0 sweep for the first win before courts No. 1 and 2 followed shortly after.

The Bearcats kept the pace up during singles action with Lauren Bellinger (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Jerome) and Hannah Wille (St. Louis, Mo./Parkway Central) earning quick wins. Each picked up wins by identical 6-1, 6-0 scores.
Bramato added the next point for the Bearcats with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Zina Mehikic for her first collegiate dual win. Ali Miller (Portsmouth, Ohio/Portsmouth) rounded out the UC scoring with a 6-4, 6-3 win on court No. 1. Bure battled in a close match on court No. 4, breaking serve to force a second-set tiebreaker, but fell short, falling 8-6 in the extra frame.
