INDIANAPOLIS - The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team picked up a pair of wins over the weekend, earning a 7-0 sweep over IUPUI and a 6-1 win over Butler on the road. The Bearcats improve to 7-2 this season.
The Bearcats opened up the weekend with a convincing 7-0 win over IUPUI. Cincinnati added wins on all three singles courts and the first two doubles courts that concluded. Lauren Bellinger (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Jerome) and Antonella Bramato (Pachuca, Mexico/Elise Freinet) both battled back from first-set losses to clinch wins.
Against the Bulldogs, UC won five of six singles matches and two of three doubles matches. Ali Miller (Portsmouth, Ohio/Portsmouth) remains undefeated this season at 9-0 after a pair of wins this weekend. Bellinger is close behind at 8-1 this season.
