CINCINNATI -- The University of Cincinnati lacrosse team collected its third-straight victory on Sunday afternoon at Gettler Stadium, downing Central Michigan, 14-15. Sarah Del Bene and Elaina Enich each found the back of the cage four times to pace the Bearcats, who stand at 4-2 for the season.

The Chippewas showed signs of life late in the first half and early in the second. CMU got the final two goals of the first half before Jepsen opened the scoring in the second half to cut the UC lead to 8-5.

Del Bene again provided a key goal for Cincinnati, halting the CMU momentum and extending Cincinnati's lead to 9-5. It followed with over 20 minutes of scoreless lacrosse, but did open a 6-0 Cincinnati run to close out the game.

- It was the first meeting between Cincinnati and Central Michigan, with the Chippewas becoming the 40th different opponent in UC history.
- Del Bene's four goals were a career high.
- Enich also had a career-best four goals.
- Bell had 15 draw controls over the past two games against Detroit and Central Michigan.
- Durso made her collegiate debut in the cage.
- UC dominated possession, out-shooting the Chippewas, 33-11, and winning 41 of 21 draw controls.
- It marks UC's longest winning streak since a program-record five consecutive wins in 2014.

The Bearcats return to the road for a pair of games next weekend. UC visits the only other Division I women's lacrosse program in Ohio on Friday, March 11, when it travels to No. 18/17 Ohio State. Cincinnati then travels to Niagara on Sunday, March 13.
