Camp Registration/Information
CINCINNATI - Head coach Molly Alvey and the University of Cincinnati volleyball team have released the dates for their summer Molly Alvey Camps. The team will host one high school team camp and three individual camps to cater to athletes of all ages.
The Elite Skills Camp will take place July 5-7 and is designed for student-athletes in grades 9-12 with an intermediate to high volleyball skill level. The Elite Skills Camp is designed to push and instruct the individual player with advanced techniques and training to help the intermediate athlete polish their skill set. Players can expect to participate in sessions on being recruited and the experience of a college student-athlete. Registration is open to all campers but it is strongly encouraged that these athletes have volleyball experience.
Following the Elite Skills Camp, the Bearcats will host the 2016 Team Camp on July 8-10. The goal of the Team Camp is to prepare each team for the upcoming season by providing ample time for practice and competition. There also will be opportunity to watch and participate in drills and demonstrations conducted by the Cincinnati staff and players. High school coaches have the option of coaching their own team of requesting one of our experienced camp staff.
July 11-13 will be the dates for both the Bearcats Youth Skills Camp (grades 5-8) and the Junior Bearcats Skills Camp (grades K-4). Both camps aim to provide instruction for the student-athletes, with the Bearcats Youth Skills Camp focusing on detailed technical instruction for multiple skill levels (beginner to intermediate) and the Junior Bearcats Skills Camp geared toward the beginner or players in the early stages of their game.
