CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati baseball team is looking to break a Marge Schott Stadium attendance record next Wednesday, April 6, when it hosts Indiana University at 6 p.m. The Bearcats will be looking to sweep the Hoosiers for the season after winning 5-0 in Bloomington on March 29.
Marge Schott Stadium, the home for UC baseball since May 20, 2004, has a capacity of 3,085. The current attendance record for the facility is 2,200 which was set on opening night in a game vs. UAB.
It will be 80’s Night at Marge Schott Stadium on Wednesday with the music, video board elements and more representing the retro styles of the 1980’s decade. UC also will be hosting its annual Greek Night and Pennant Day promotions.
The concession stand will offer $1 beer and $1 hotdogs throughout the game with additional happy hour prices beginning at 4 p.m. and running through the first pitch.
