AUBURN, Ala. - TF: Bearcats Continue to Rewrite Record Book at Auburn
Ten new marks placed in program's all-time Top 10 lists

AUBURN, Ala. - The University of Cincinnati track and team had a very productive day at the Tiger Track Classic in Auburn, Ala., as the Bearcats posted one victory to go with their 18 personal-best marks, 10 of which rank among the program's all-time Top 10 marks. Rookie Haisha Bisiolu collected two of those marks while sophomore Rebecka Abrahamsson collected her second school-record of the season, this time posting the best leap in the long jump.

While top marks were posted across the board for the women, the sprints shone the brightest as six PRs were recorded, four of which rank among the Top 10 in UC history. While not a personal-best nor a Top 10 mark in program history, senior Kenya Woodall put in a solid mark in the 400m dash as nearly broke 52-seconds once again to lead the way with the lone victory of the day for UC.

// WOMEN'S RESULTS
- Woodall's win came in the 400m dash with the senior posting a time of 52.12, just off her personal best and school record time of 51.78. Her time Saturday is one of the fastest in the collegiate ranks so far in 2016 as, at the time of the race, she ranks fifth in the nation and was first among members of the American Athletic Conference. In the same event, Bryana Robinson clocked in at 54.88 to finish ninth overall and see her PR stand as the sixth-fastest in UC history while also currently ranking her fifth in the conference. Deanna Gesicki ran 57.24 to finish 25th and post a PR by breaking 58-seconds for the first time in her collegiate career.
- Bisiolu competed in a pair of events on the day and made the most of them as she finished seventh in the 100m dash in 11.90 and eight in the 200m dash in 24.21. Both of those PR's rank among the fastest in school history, standing as the seventh and fifth-best times, respectively. Also in the 200m, Kellsa Mbah turned in a PR with her time of 25.67.
- Staying in the sprints, Je'Rica Sanders and Javette Lee both ran fast times in the 100m hurdles with the senior Sanders clocking in at 13.62 and Lee came in two places later in eighth overall with a time of 13.75. Sanders' time currently ranks second in the conference while Lee, who is fourth in the American, turned in a PR that ranks tied for fifth all-time in UC history.
- Rebecka Abrahamsson moved to the top of another UC record list, this time claiming the long jump top spot with a leap of 6.17m (20-03.00) to finish third overall in the event. The indoor and outdoor triple jump record holder, Abrahamsson's mark places her among the Top 20 nationally while also putting at the top of the American Athletic Conference charts.
- Annette Echikunwoke and Leah Heckaman had solid competitions in the shot put as each woman posted marks of 50-feet or better. Echikunwoke, who broke the hammer record one day prior, hit a mark of 15.56m (51-00.75) to finish sixth overall in the shot put and post the third-best mark in school history. Right behind her was Heckaman, who's two-foot PR toss of 15.38m (50-05.00) placed her ninth in the meet and fourth on UC's all-time Top 10 chart.
- The distance crew also got into the act with PR's and top marks, including the 800m run, where Alexis Anton (two seconds) and Meg Westerheide (six seconds) each posted big personal-best times to place 14th and 20th, respectively. Anton covered the two-lap event in 2:10.93 to post the fourth-fastest time in UC history while Westerheide came in at 2:12.71, the 11th-fastest in school history.
- Tes Corea lowered her PR in the 1,500m run by five seconds, running 4:43.95 to place 16th overall while Vanessa Robinson ran 11:25.02 in the 3,000m steeplechase to finish sixth overall and record the ninth-fastest time in UC history.

// MEN'S RESULTS
- The distance duo of Dan Huben and Ian Silver competed in the 3,000m steeplechase with Huben tying for the best finish of the day for the Bearcats as he took runner-up honors in 9:13.95 while Silver was just behind him in fourth at 9:20.76. Both of those marks are season-best times and rank the duo third and fourth, respectively, among competitors in the American Athletic Conference. Silver's time also is a PR.
- The 400m dash had four men compete with all four posting solid times, including newcomer Jimmy Brooks, who led the way with a time of 47.30 to not only place sixth overall in the event, but also record the 10th-fastest time in UC history. A season-best for Brooks, he was followed across the line by three teammates that each posted personal bests, including Halen Witcher (49.18), Nathan Smith (49.74) and Ryan Greene (50.07).
- Returning All-American Adrian Valles made his outdoor debut in the pole vault and took runner-up honors as he cleared 5.20m (17-00.75). That clearance ranks as the second-best in the league currently. Colt Robinson and Nathan Alexander both cleared 4.75m (15-07.00) in the event to finish 12th and 15th, respectively.
- The final PR recorded on the day came in the 100m dash as freshman Khalid Fuller ran 11.06 to finish 28th overall while lowering his PR from the 11.18 he ran last week at home.

Following one week of from competition, the Bearcats will return to action on April 22-23 at the Lyle & Wood Invitational in Louisville.
