DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team snapped a three-game losing skid with a 4-1 win against Dayton Sunday afternoon on the road.

Cincinnati picked up the first point thanks to a pair of wins in doubles action. Lauren Bellinger (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Jerome) and Harley Hutchison (Joliet, Ill./Joliet Catholic Academy) added a 6-4 win while Antonella Bramato (Pachuca, Mexico/Elise Freinet) and Katya Bure (Springfield, N.J./Jonathan Dayton) won by a 7-5 score.

Bellinger took care of things on court No. 1 for the Bearcats, recording a 6-3, 6-3 win. Bure added a second win for UC, also by 6-3, 6-3 scores. Cincinnati's final point came on court No. 6 where Hannah Wille (St. Louis, Mo./Parkway Central) recorded a 6-1, 6-1 win.

"It is very good to get back in the win column today," said head coach Eric Toth. "Lauren, Katya and Hannah were really strong today and got us off the court before things got interesting. We'll look forward to Wednesday and be ready to go on Senior Day against Northern Kentucky."
