LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The third and final day of action came to a close in Louisville on Sunday afternoon for the University of Cincinnati track and field program with a trio of Bearcats finishing out their respective two-day multi-event competitions at the Lyle/Wood Invitational hosted by the University of Louisville. Originally slated for a Thursday-Friday competition schedule, weather forecasts pushed the women's heptathlon and men's decathlon to a Saturday-Sunday schedule.

Overall, Alex Bloom scored 6,511 points in the 10-event decathlon to finish as the runner-up in the meet while Naomi Urbano and Maggie Loeffler finished fourth (4,204 points) and fifth (4,165 points), respectively, in the women's 7-event heptathlon. Both women recorded personal-bests in each event on the day while Bloom added three to the ledger based on his competition.
