TAMPA - The University of Cincinnati volleyball team dominated the USF Bulls to a 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-22) win on Saturday afternoon in Tampa, Florida. Sophomore Jordan Thompson (Edina, Minn./Edina) scored 18 kills with only two errors for a .571 hitting percentage to lead the team. Sophomore Carly Nolan (Crystal Lake, Ill./Crystal Lake South) chipped in 13 kills and 12 digs for her team-leading 10th double-double of the season.

- Cincinnati improves to 15-8 on the year and 10-2 in The American while USF falls to 16-8 and 7-5 in the league.
- The Bearcats jumped to 19-12 all-time against the Bulls.
- Thompson has recorded double-digit kills in 20 matches this season while Nolan has reached the milestone on 16 occasions
- Sophomore setter Jade Tingelhoff (Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville South) dished out a match-high 42 assists.
- Sophomore libero Abby Williams (Loveland, Ohio/Ursuline Academy) collected 12 digs.
- The Bearcats held USF to a .202 attacking percentage and are 15-3 this season when keeping their opponents below .250. It is the ninth time in the last nine matches UC has kept the other team under .250.

Set 1: UC 25, USF 19
- The Bearcats raced to an 11-5 lead and forced a USF timeout after three straight points, including a Williams ace and a Thompson kill.
- Cincinnati scored five straight points, with kills by senior Ciara Hill (Bolingbrook, Ill./Bolingbrook) (two), Nolan and Thompson, for a 17-10 advantage.
- The Bulls scored five of six points to get within four at 19-15 but back-to-back kills by Hill and senior Lise Alaiwan (Villeneuve Loubet, France/Kedge Business School) and a USF error increased the UC lead to 22-15.
- Redshirt senior Alison Kimmel (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield North) ended the game with a kill to give the Bearcats a 1-0 lead in the match.
Set 2: UC 25, USF 23
- The Bulls were the aggressors to open the second game, scoring six of the first seven points to force a Cincinnati timeout.
- The Bearcats began to claw their way back and used a kill by Hill and a USF attacking error to get within 13-15. A service ace by senior Lindsey Dinkelacker (Cincinnati, Ohio/St. Louis) made it 17-16 and Cincinnati finally got even with the Bulls after a kill by Nolan for a 17-17 score line and a USF timeout.
- The Bulls erased a two-point Cincinnati lead with a kill, a block and an ace to force head coach Molly Alvey into a timeout with her team trailing 21-20.
- Consecutive kills by Thompson gave the Bearcats set point at 24-23 before an ace by Kimmel won the second game 25-23.
Set 3: UC 25, USF
- The teams traded points to open the set until the Bulls scored two in a row for an 18-16 lead and a Cincinnati timeout.
- Out of the break, the Bearcats answered with three straight points, including two kills by Nolan, for a 19-18 advantage.
- Back-to-back kills by Thompson and Alaiwan ended the game 25-22.

The Bearcats return to Fifth Third Arena for more American Athletic Conference action against SMU and Tulsa on Nov. 4 and 6. UC will match up with the Mustangs at 7 p.m. on Friday before facing the Golden Hurricane at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
