Complete Schedule
CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati men's soccer team's Tuesday, Oct. 10 home game against IUPUI has been rescheduled for Friday, Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. at Gettler Stadium.
Due to IUPUI's July 1 move from the Summit League to the Horizon League and the resulting scheduling conflicts, the two teams have agreed to play on Sept. 1 in Cincinnati. The match will kick off at 7 p.m. at Gettler Stadium with free admission as part of the season-long Experience UC initiative.
The Jaguars complied a 2-15-1 overall record in 2016 including a 1-5 mark in the Summit. UC topped IUPUI 3-0 last season in Indianapolis with a goal each by 2017 returners Aerin West (Sylvania, Ohio/Northview) and Ryan Melink (Loveland, Ohio/Loveland).
Following earning a 9-7-1 overall record in 2016, including a program-high fourth place finish in the American Athletic Conference, the Bearcats will face a challenging and exciting schedule in 2017. This year's slate will feature 10 home contests, highlighted by hosting crosstown rival Xavier. Fans are invited to Experience UC all season long with free admission to every home match. AAC play will include seven matches including visiting NCAA Tournament teams USF and Tulsa.
The fall will open with three exhibition matches. Detroit Mercy will provide the opposition on Friday, Aug. 11, at Gettler Stadium, followed by a visit from Rio Grande on Monday, Aug. 14. The final tuneup will be Saturday, Aug. 19 at Lipscomb.
