O’Kelley Named an All-American Scholar by GCAA

University of Cincinnati outgoing men's golf senior Jared O'Kelley (Canton, Ga./Creekview High School) has been named a Srixon/Cleveland All-American Scholar by the GCAA.

CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati outgoing men's golf senior Jared O'Kelley (Canton, Ga./Creekview High School) has been named a Srixon/Cleveland All-American Scholar by the GCAA.

O'Kelley is one of 260 Division I men's golfers to receive the honor. Recipients must be a junior or senior in standing; compete in at least three full years at the collegiate level; participate in 50 percent of his team's competitive rounds; own a stroke average under 76.0; maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2; and be of high moral character and in good standing at his college or university. 

O'Kelley was a three-time selection to the American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team and earned Bearcats Academic Honor Roll accolades during six semesters and Dean's List honors for three semesters. 

On the course, O'Kelley registered his best season as Bearcat in 2016-17, posting 10 Top-25 finishes in 12 tournaments, including three Top-5 results and completed his senior year with a career-low 73.23 stroke average.
