// QUOTING THE BEARCATS

On his experience at the U.S. Amateur:
"Even though this tournament didn't go the way I wanted, I am still taking away a lot of positives. I learned a lot about myself and my golf game. I know exactly what I need to work on to get better and words can't describe how excited I am to get the season going." – Davis Baxter

"This week was great. The U.S. Amateur is truly a major championship, without any professional golfers. They treated me great and the golf courses were two of the best one can play. I didn't have my best stuff this week and my weaknesses were exposed. But that has to happen for me to improve. Overall, I didn't hit it as bad as the scorecard shows. I just didn't make any putts to capitalize on good shots or to save me from the bad ones." – Austin Squires

"I learned a lot about myself this week, mainly about my tendencies when I am nervous. And I felt new kinds of pressure or nerves, because this tournament is like no other. I also learned a little bit more on how to prepare for tournaments with limited time, because we had to learn two championship courses in two days." – Austin Squires
