CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati football team plays longtime rival Miami (OH) in the 122nd Battle for the Victory Bell on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017 at 8 p.m. ET inside Yager Stadium in Oxford, Ohio. The game will air on FOX 19 in Cincinnati, FOX 8 in Cleveland and via radio on 700 WLW AM and TuneIn.com. If the Reds-Pirates game runs long (4:10 p.m. start), the UC-Miami game will start on 102.7 WEBN FM and move to 700 WLW AM after the conclusion of the Reds broadcast.
THE SERIES
Saturday marks the 122nd time the two schools will meet in the second-oldest NCAA FBS rivalry. Miami (Ohio) leads the all-time series 59-55-7 but UC has won 11-straight games, including a 27-20 win at Nippert Stadium a year ago.
THE COACHES
Ohio native Luke Fickell was named the 42nd Football Head Coach at the University of Cincinnati in December 2017.Fickell took the reins of the Bearcats program after spending 15 years at his alma mater, Ohio State. An experienced 18-year coaching veteran at the FBS level, Fickell was a part of nine Big Ten Conference titles (seven as a coach, two as a player) and two national championship squads with 15 postseason games and 12 NFL Draft selections under his belt.
Chuck Martin is in his fourth season as the head coach at Miami (OH) after four years on former UC coach Brian Kelly's staff at Notre Dame (2010-13). Martin was 74-7 in six years at Grand Valley State (2004-09) and is 11-27 at Miami (OH).

- The University of Cincinnati football team plays its 130th season in 2017. The program dates to 1885 and is one of the 10 oldest in major college football.
- UC has won a league title in five of the last 10 seasons and played in a bowl game nine time in the past 11 years.
- The Bearcats' 97 wins over the last 10 years rank among the top-20 teams in the NCAA FBS.

The 8 p.m. kickoff is the first night game for UC at Yager Stadium since Sept. 28, 2005.

- QB Hayden Moore has thrown four touchdown passes with two interceptions in the Bearcats' first two games.
