// SET BREAKDOWN
Set 1: UC, 25-16
• The Bearcats took no time getting out to a lead to start their match with Milwaukee. Five straight points, starting with a kill by Elly Ogle and ending with an attack error, put UC up 6-2 early on. Cincinnati extended its lead to 14-7 after a Jasmine Jones block, which forced a Milwaukee timeout. The break did nothing to stifle UC's efforts as it continued on with two straight kills by Carly Nolan, both assisted by Jade Tingelhoff. The Panthers were able to string some late points together, but the Bearcats successfully held them off for the set victory.
Set 2: UC, 26-24
• This time, the Panthers were able to take a lead at the onset, but it wouldn't last for long. Back-to-back blocks by Ogle and Jones made it a 3-3 then 4-3 set in favor of the Bearcats. Tied 12-12, Milwaukee got back in front by two, causing a UC timeout. An ace from Nolan tipped the scales back into Cincinnati's favor. The set provided an exciting finish as it went down to the wire with the teams tied at 24. The Bearcats earned the next point on a service error before a kill by Erica Kostelac would seal the win.
Set 3: UC, 25-15
• Abby Williams started set three with an ace to keep the momentum with UC. No team was able to take more than a one point lead early on. The Bearcats put a stop to that trend when they scored three straight to take a 10-7 lead. Nolan had two kills and a block to put UC ahead during that span. After a Milwaukee timeout, Williams had another ace and Nolan another kill to add on to the lead. The Bearcats pressed on from there and did not back down, taking the final set and match.
