// SET BREAKDOWN
Set 1: UC, 25-18
• The Bearcats jumped out to an early lead to open the match, including advantages of 4-1 and 6-3 before the Broncos eventually tied the set at 6-6. UC jumped back into the lead at 8-7, but WMU went on a 4-1 run to take an 11-9 lead. But, the Bearcats bounced right back and rolled off 10 points in a row with Muldrow tallying three kills in a row, including two off blocks, to put UC back into the lead, this time for good. When the run ended, UC was ahead, 19-11, and each team would go back and forth winning one or two points in a row. Leading 24-18, the Bearcats closed out the set as Chrysanthi Stamatiou nailed down the final point with a kill, her first of the match.
• In the opening set, Nolan led the way with six kills while Maya Muldrow posted five kills and added one solo block. Tingelhoff had 14 assists while adding three digs.
Set 2: WMU, 25-22
• UC jumped out to a lead once again, this time taking a 3-1 lead before the Broncos tied the score at 3-3. The Bearcats would continue to take a lead before WMU would immediately tie the score up through 13-13. From there, UC would extend their lead to 16-13 before WMU went on a 4-0 run to take just their second lead of the set. From there, the Broncos went on another 4-0 run to lead, 21-17. UC would climb close to catching the Broncos, getting to within one at 23-22, but two WMU kills closed out the set and tied the match at 1-1.
• Tingelhoff recorded 13 more assists in the set while Nolan again had the hot hand as she killed eight sets from Tingelhoff. Nolan also added eight digs to nearly have a double-double in the set alone. Williams dug six balls while Tingelhoff and Wolf each added four.
Set 3: WMU, 25-11
• Following the break, the Bearcats came back out and looked to have an early grasp on the set as they again built leads of 4-1 and 6-3 before the Broncos came back. A UC attack error made the score 6-4 in favor of UC, but that also started a 19-2 run for WMU that included runs of 8-0 (17-7) and 5-0 (22-8). The Broncos closed out the set with the final two points to take the set, 25-11, and pull ahead on sets, 2-1, over the Bearcats.
• It was tough sledding for UC in the set as the Bearcats recorded five kills total with Nolan recording two and Muldrow, Jasmine Jones and Stamatiou each adding one. Tingelhoff added five assists to her total while Elly Ogle, Nolan and Azzara each had four digs.
Set 4: WMU, 26-24
• UC trailed early, falling behind 3-1, before bouncing back and both tying the set and taking a lead. After playing to a 9-9 tie, the Bearcats would win four of the next five points to build a 13-10 lead and continue to hold that lead deep into the set. Then, with UC up 22-17, the Broncos went on a 4-0 run to close to within one (22-21) before another Nolan kill pushed UC back ahead by two. WMU would score the next two points to tie the set at 23-23 before Nolan recorded her career-high 24th kill to make it 24-23 in favor of the Broncos, but that is all the closer UC would get as WMU used two kills in a row to win the set and the match.
• Tingelhoff posted 10 assists on UC's 12 kills with Nolan grabbing eight of those kills and Ogle chipping in three. Azzara led the defense with five digs while Eller added four and Tingelhoff three.
