TicketsCINCINNATI – The American Athletic Conference announced its weekly volleyball award recipients on Monday with University of Cincinnati redshirt-freshman Erica Kostelac receiving recognition as a member of the honor roll.
Kostelac was a big part of UC starting AAC play with two victories, winning all six sets on the weekend. She averaged 4.00 kills per set and had a .352 attack percentage in the two matches. Kostelac also added in seven blocks.
On Friday in the conference opener at USF, Kostelac led the team with 13 kills and was second with five blocks. At UCF on Sunday, she was second on the team with 11 kills. Through two AAC matches, Kostelac ranks 8th in kills, 12th in hitting percentage and 8th in blocks among her conference peers.

The Bearcats host their 2017 season-opener this Friday, September 29 when Tulsa comes to town for a 7 p.m. match. UC then host SMU at 1 p.m. on Sunday. The home site for the 2017 season is St. Ursula Academy right off campus on E. McMillan St.
