// COACH CARL ON THE BEARCATS
"We had a real chance today," said head coach Janet Carl. "We were Bearcats on the course today, fighting to the finish! I'm proud of Christina for coming back from a slow start to finish at four-under-par on the back nine, en route to a 69. Amalia was able to birdie her last three holes to shoot 74. Anika played really solid although today was a learning opportunity for her. She will get herself in the lead again and will be able to get it closed out in the future. As a team, we really hoped we could have climbed to third but we weren't quite able to today. Another few events and I think we can. We are headed home to get ready for Kentucky at the end of next week.
