// SET BREAKDOWN
Set 1: UC, 25-16

• A trio of 5-0 runs would propel the Bearcats over the Pirates to take the first set of the weekend. Down early, the first run tied the game at six and then put UC ahead 9-6 after a kill from Nolan. A Seton Hall timeout got the opposition back into the game, but Cincinnati would go on yet another 5-0 run to stay ahead. In the end, five straight points from the Bearcats would hand them the set victory, finished off by a block from Jasmine Jones and Elly Ogle.

Set 2: Seton Hall, 26-24
• The Bearcats led for most of the second set, but the Pirates would make things interesting for a brief period. Down 15-10, the Pirates called a timeout and worked their way back in, tying the set at 16. However, UC stayed in front, grabbing the next point.  Seton Hall would tie the set once again at 24 after a UC timeout and then take a late 25-24 lead, causing another timeout from the Bearcats. An ace would hand the Pirates the second set by a score of 26-24.

Set 3: Seton Hall, 25-22
• UC found itself in a deficit to begin the third set, but worked back to tie the game 8-8. However, Seton Hall would continue to lead. A 4-0 run by the Pirates was stopped by a Nolan kill to put the score at 16-11. Down the stretch, back-to-back kills by Erica Kostelac kept the Bearcats alive, but after a timeout, the Pirates would capitalize on an error to take the third set.

Set 4: Seton Hall, 25-17
• The Bearcats were unable to hold off the Pirates at the onset of the fourth set as two kills, a block, an ace and an error put Seton Hall ahead 5-3 early. But, the lead wouldn't last long as kills by Nolan and Ogle and a block by Ogle and Maya Muldrow would make it an even 6-6 score. Down by two (11-9), the Bearcats rallied back to take the lead. Two Pirate errors and a kill by Nolan from Emily Azzara made it a 12-11 contest in favor of UC. Unfortunately, a 5-0 run for Seton Hall would be the decider as another run, this one four-straight, put the score at 23-16 as the Pirates would take the set and the match victories.
