// SET BREAKDOWN
Set 1: UD, 25-17
• The set opened with a bit of back-and-forth with each team scoring early. With the set tied at 5-5, the Flyers went on a 4-0 run to open a lead that they would not relinquish with the Bearcats climbing no closer than three points the rest of the way. Nolan posted a team-high three kills in the set with Erica Kostelac adding a pair and both Megan Kissel and Tingelhoff chipping in one each. Maya Muldrow recorded a solo block while Nolan recorded four digs and Maya Eller added two.
Set 2: UD, 25-17
• After the Bearcats jumped to an early 2-1 lead, the Flyers went on a 6-0 run to build a 7-2 advantage in the set. UC would go on a 3-0 run to close to within three points at 10-7, but UD answered with its own 3-0 run to extend its lead once again. The Flyers would eventually put together a 5-0 run to bring the score to 21-11 and eventually got the score to 24-13 on a service ace, but the Bearcats refused to go quietly and went a 5-0 run of their own with Ogle recording two kills and Nolan recording one to cut the score to 24-17. But, a UC attack error would close the set as the Flyers took Set 2, 25-17.
Set 3: UD, 25-15
• After taking a 2-1 lead, the Bearcats went on 3-0 run to build a 5-1 advantage with Stamatiou killing all three points in that run. But, the Flyers battled back and eventually tied the match at 5-5 before UC ended the run to reclaim the lead at 6-5. From there, however, UD went on an 8-0 run to pull ahead, 14-6, and would go on two more runs to extend that lead. Trailing 24-12, the Bearcats again put up another fight and ran off three points in a row, but, a UC attack error gave UD the final point it needed to take the set, 25-15, and the match, 3-0.
