For the second time this season, the University of Cincinnati's Carly Nolan has been named to the American Athletic Conference's weekly honor roll. Nolan recorded two double-doubles in conference play this past weekend and surpassed the 1,000 career kill mark on Sunday, becoming one of just twenty Bearcats to ever reach the feat.
In nine sets this past week Nolan recorded 4.22 kills per set while also averaging 4.11 digs. On Friday against Tulsa she led the Bearcats to a 3-1 victory with 18 kills and 15 digs. On Sunday against SMU, her first kill of the fourth set was career number 1,000. She finished the match with a new career total of 1,005, placing her 19th on the list of all-time career kills at UC. Her performance of 20 kills and 22 digs in the match was the first 20-20 game for any Bearcat since November 9, 2012.
Through Sunday's matches, Nolan is ranked 6th in the country in attacks per set and 41st in kills per set. She leads the conference in those two categories and in points per set.
