LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Cincinnati women's golf team will return to competition this weekend at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational, co-hosted by Kentucky and Indiana, Friday-Sunday at the University Club of Kentucky.
// THE TOURNAMENT
The tournament will follow a Friday-Saturday-Sunday format with 18 holes slated for each round. Play will start on Friday and Saturday with tee times at 9 a.m. ET, while a 9 a.m. shotgun start will tee off Sunday's third and final round.

At the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational, five golfers will comprise UC's scoring team, with one golfer competing individually.

The 16-team field includes co-hosts Kentucky and Indiana as well as Akron, Ball State, Bradley, Cincinnati, Fresno State, Grand Canyon, Illinois, Ball State, Murray State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Toledo, Western Kentucky, and Wisconsin.

Gloor led the Bearcats attack during the final round of play with a career-best round of 69 to close out play at the ECU Pirate Collegiate Classic at Greenville Country Club on Sept. 26. As a team, UC finished sixth out of 17 teams.
The Bearcats stayed steady in the third round after shooting rounds of 303 and 299 in the opening two rounds to sit in six place in the team standings. With her team totaling a score of 301 in the final round, Gloor paced the UC field with seven birdies on the day including a strong finish with four on the back nine. The tournament's best round of the day, Gloor's 69 was a 12-stroke improvement from a second-round 81.
After being tied atop the leaderboard following the opening two rounds of 72 and career-low 70, Hitt shot a 77 on in the third to drop to a tie for fifth place. Shahzan wrapped up play on a positive note with a career-best score of 74.
