// QUOTING HEAD COACH DOUG MARTIN
On the team's mindset heading into the tournament:
"It's our last event of the fall season so it's an opportunity to go out and compete and build momentum heading into the offseason.
"It also gives us a chance to put away the bad taste of how we finished up at Middle Tennessee. Everything that could go wrong did and we didn't handle adversity well. We've got to be mentally tough to move past it."
On the importance of playing in this event:
"It's a new event for us. I've heard only good things about the golf course. The tournament features a solid field. Plus, it's one of two regular-season tournaments we have in Florida. That's significant because it's the state where our conference championship will be held and we'll gain some experience playing on the Bermuda grass."
