American Athletic Conference Release
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – University of Cincinnati men's soccer freshman goalkeeper Noah Lawrence was selected to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.
Lawrence (Mitchellville, Md.) earned the accolade after totaling 11 saves, including a shutout, last week as the Bearcats went 1-1.
The rookie turned away four shots for his first-collegiate clean sheet in a 4-0 home win over Fort Wayne on Wednesday. Lawrence followed with a career-high seven saves in a 2-0 home setback to No. 14 SMU on Saturday.
Overall, he has 20 saves and a 71.4 percent save percentage in five matches this season.
Lawrence was previously honored by the league as Goalkeeper of the Week on Aug. 28 for his efforts during the first week of the season.
