PROVIDENCE, R.I.
– University of Cincinnati men's soccer freshman goalkeeper Noah Lawrence has been picked for the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, as announced Monday by the league office.
 
Lawrence (Mitchellville, Md.) garnered the honor after notching 11 saves in two matches this past week including a collegiate-high nine at Tulsa on Saturday.
 
The freshman totaled two saves in a 2-1 home win Tuesday against Cleveland State as the Bearcats finished nonconference play in 2017 undefeated at 5-0-1. He followed with a career-best nine saves in a 1-0 setback at Tulsa on Saturday including a save on a Golden Hurricane penalty kick early in the second half
 
On the season, Lawrence has 31 saves, a 75.6 percent save percentage, and one shutout in seven matches.
 
Lawrence has now been honored by the conference three times this season, including, most recently being selected to the honor roll last week on Oct. 23.

The Bearcats will close the regular season Saturday when they welcome the UCF Knights to Gettler Stadium for a 7 p.m. kickoff. Admission to the match will be free as part of the Experience UC initiative. Seniors Jack Clark (Mason, Ohio/Mason) and Christian Hay (Cincinnati, Ohio/Summit Country Day) will be honored prior to the match during a ceremony on the pitch.
