The American Athletic Conference announced its weekly honorees on Monday with University of Cincinnati's Abby Williams named to the Honor Roll for her performances this past weekend.
Williams averaged 6.71 digs per set in two matches and was also second on the team with eight assists. The Bearcats went four sets in a loss at SMU on Thursday then swept Tulsa on Saturday afternoon.
In Saturday's match, Williams recorded an impressive 31 digs. The mark was a new career-high for the junior and made her the first Bearcat since September 2014 to record 30 or more digs in a match. The previous 30-dig performance was accomplished in four sets while Williams reached the mark in just three.
Williams is the fourth Bearcat to be named to the AAC weekly Honor Roll this season as teammates Carly Nolan, Erica Kostelac and Maya Muldrow have previously received the honor.

UC returns home to St. Ursula Academy for its next four matches starting this weekend. The Bearcats will host UCF on Friday, November 3 at 7 p.m. and USF on Sunday, November 5 at 1 p.m.
